Vacuum Oven Qualification
In vacuum ovens, the heat treating process takes place inside an airtight vessel, allowing a vacuum to be drawn. To prevent surface reactions such as oxidation or decarburization, and to remove surface contaminants such as oxide films or residual traces of lubricants, proper heat treating under vacuum must be performed. The heating sources for vacuum ovens include arc (electric or resistance) and induction. Vacuum oven controllers can allow for single set points or programmable cycles.
Masy BioServices can perform installation qualification (IQ), operation qualification (OQ), and performance qualification (PQ) services to validate your vacuum ovens to ensure that the rate of temperature change, temperature uniformity and vacuum level within your vacuum oven meets end user specifications. We employ trained validation engineers to assist with all aspect of the qualification.
